Cinematography
Over 2+ years of experience with a strong foundation in both digital and film formats, specializing in branded content, documentaries, and narrative work. I’ve shot projects for Adidas, Factory International, British Cycling, and Fareshare, and recently worked as DoP on a multi-screen film installation exhibited at Factory International.
Experienced with Sony FX6/FX9, Canon C70, Lumix S5IIX, and 16mm film, I bring a versatile approach to visual storytelling—balancing creative instinct with technical precision. My background includes lighting design, gaffing, and operating across a range of productions.
About me
Born and raised in India and now based in Manchester, UK, my journey into cinematography began with a love for technology and a deep curiosity about how things work. As a teenager, I spent hours tinkering with gadgets, filming tech videos on my dad’s old camera, and editing on his desktop — all for my first YouTube channel. That hands-on, DIY approach sparked something bigger: a growing obsession with cameras, light, and visual storytelling.
What started with experimenting at home quickly evolved into a passion for filmmaking. I began carrying my camera everywhere, capturing everyday moments, watching films with a curious eye, and trying to figure out how scenes were lit and framed. That curiosity became a drive — to learn, to practice, and to create better images with intention and feeling.
Realizing this was more than just a hobby, I began taking on freelance videography gigs to gain experience and grow my skills on real sets. Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot for brands like Adidas, Factory International, British Cycling, Fareshare, and Skechers, working across branded content, documentaries, installations, and narrative pieces. From solo shoots to crewed productions, I’ve worn many hats — as a DoP, lighting camera operator, gaffer, and camera assistant.
Today, I shoot on both digital and film formats, using tools like the Sony FX6/FX9, Canon C70, and my Lumix S5IIX, and I continue to push myself creatively and technically with every project. I’m passionate about creating striking, story-driven visuals and bringing calm, thoughtful energy to every set.
Director of photography, for me, is a lifelong pursuit — of learning, collaboration, and making images that feel honest, cinematic, and alive.
